Our Waters

One of the longest Atlantic salmon rivers in Eastern Canada, the Moisie takes its source from the Northern plateau of Labrador. It then wanders south for some 400 kilometers (250 miles), along deep gorges to finally flow into the Saint-Lawrence near the City of Sept-Îles.

The Moisie is famous for its large salmon, thus being the dream destination of many experienced fishermen the world over. Every year, many salmon of 20, 30 and some exceeding 40 pounds are caught.
